Here's what it should look like before you mount the ESP32

Here's how I tap the RX and TX lines from the MCU. Carefully pry off the JST plastic part, VERY carefully solder the wires on making sure the pins don't move. bend them back if they do so you can get the JST plastic part back on

Yeah, yeah.... Fumble Fingers broke off that SMT Cap and had to solder in a new one. Even us pro's can screw up sometimes :)
And here's where to tap the Thumbs Up Reset wire

I put tape or better yet hot glue (complete silence) over the hole of that ultra-annoying beeper.
