Yeah that figures, it's hard-coded into both. [SE] [TDSM]

I'll see what the best fix to address it is once I'm back in the codebases. I'm doing art and admin work for TDSM at the moment.

Are you able to use Stipple Effect without issues otherwise? I've been neglecting it basically all year because I've been so busy with TDSM. It's long overdue for an update and I've compiled a massive list of things to add and fix.

Btw I also have a 144 Hz monitor, and I've personally never visually noticed the frame cap. But that's neither here nor there.

For TDSM specifically, what you're sensing might actually be (/ might be exacerbated by) the picture scaling. The native resolution of the window contents is 500x300, and it is scaled up depending on the monitor resolution. On a 1920x1080 screen, it is scaled up to 1500x900. That means that the mouse cursor in the program actually moves in units of 3 displayed pixels rather than 1, which can look like it is caused by a low frame rate, but is actually just a stylistic compromise.

Are you able to use Stipple Effect without issues otherwise?

It doesn't scale well on my laptop in windowed mode - see the screenshot. It works fine in fullscreen, but I haven’t really looked into it yet.

I’m not sure what’s causing this, but when I tab into TDSM, my cursor lags as if the app is running at a low framerate. That’s what it feels like.
