This would be very useful, so as not to always have to press the tab to check the values ​​when scrolling the parameters of effects that have many and especially live when we do not have time to perform many operations while we are also playing. Doing this properly (not in a screen reader specific way) would require the name of the current item in the combo box to include the value of the parameter. This is problematic because we actually don't retrieve the value of the parameter until after you select that parameter. So, you'd likely get double speaking as the name updates.

Note that you can focus the slider and use control+tab and control+shift+tab to move between parameters, which will report both the parameter name and the value. That also avoids needing to tab to the slider after finding the right parameter. Does this suffice?

Couldn't you just read the text from the slider without selecting it or select it in a hidden way without focusing it? I don't know, I say without knowing, of course, but it would be very convenient, I put in pro q 4 fabfilter, for example, very convenient to know a frequency while you are going to its gain, I would like it very much, so I would stop using jaws with reaper and use NVDA which is much faster and more reliable.
