Windows 11 antivirus stops downloading of the newest Osara because the installation file contains virus

Hi

When I try to download the newest version of the Osara Extention on my Windows 11 64-bit computer, the build in antivirus blocks the download because the installation file contains virus.

The virus is a trojan called Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.
Can someone here tell me if I can ignor the error message from the build in antivirus and if yes how I in the future can allow the Osara installation file to be downloaded?

Thanks for letting us know and sorry about the hiccup. It's absolutely safe to allow the executable in Settings, Security, Protection History. May also be worth trying the download in a different browser if Defender keeps complaining. FYI, Firefox doesn't seem to throw up these issues for people.
I'll request a rescan from Microsoft ASAP, hopefully get this straightened out before too long.

Dear Scott You are very welcome - very thanks for a good job regarding Reaper, Osara etc.! When I disable the microsoft defender antivirus real protection temporary I fine could download the latest version of the installation file for Osara. But when I enable the real protection again the antivirus block the installation file to open/run on my operating system. So I disabled the real protection temporary, installed the latest version of Osara, deleted the installation file, and after that enabled the real protection again. I will be glad if you please can write me back when Microsoft have corrected the error regarding the false positive of virus in the Osara installation file.
