Option in OSARA Configuration to announce note name first in MIDI editor. #1311

Hello OSARA team,

First of all, thank you very much for your amazing work on OSARA — it makes REAPER accessible and powerful for blind and visually impaired users.

I have a feature request for the MIDI editor:

Currently, when moving between notes, OSARA announces the note properties in a fixed order (for example: position, note name, velocity). For many workflows it would be much more efficient if OSARA could:

Announce the note name first before other properties when navigating between notes in the MIDI editor.

Or provide an option inside “OSARA: Configuration” to customize the reading order (e.g., note name → position → velocity).

The reason for this request is that not everyone has perfect pitch; for many users, the note name is the most important piece of information and should be announced first to make identifying pitches quicker and editing more efficient.

Would it be possible to add such an option in a future update?

Thank you very much for considering this request.

Best regards

Nghia.
