README warning advice breaks dark skin

I just updated my site from remote_theme: jekyll/minima to remote_theme: "jekyll/minima@c6e74bb" (v2.5.2) following the README warning, but this has broken skin: dark.

Please could the README be updated accordingly for people as inept at Jekyll as me. Any help fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

I just updated mine after 7 months and it was all broken, not just the dark skin. Using the version currently mentioned in README - jekyll/minima@1e8a445 - fixed the issue for me.

That has fixed the dark theme but still seems to have broken my GitHub profile link, so I'll have to adjust or remove that.
