Describe the bug
I reported this on Jellyfin-Media-Player and after 9 months the issue got closed asking me to report it here:
This issue occurs in both the MacOS jellyfin-media-player client and the web client.
When searching for a matching movie in the Identify function, if no results are returned, the users sees an entirely empty screen and is not given any feedback that the search returned no results.
Reproduction Steps
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Go to a movie, click ... and Identify
Enter in gibberish (e.g. zciuhaiudfiuf) for a title and press search, guaranteeing the search will return no results
The search results page looks like the below screenshot, which is not user friendly
Expected/Actual behaviour
When a search has no results, the search results page should convey to the user no results were found (ideally it would also convey to the user what they searched for so as to help the user understand why no results were found). See a screenshot in the original report.
