How to push a tag to GitHub?

What is the equivalent of git push origin tag_name? I tried dulwich.porcelain.push but it pushes a new branch instead of pushing the existing tag.

dulwich.porcelain.push() should support pushing tags. What version of dulwich are you running, and what's the exact code you're using to push?
