Unable to play downloaded sounds

After downloading new sounds from the catalogue, I am unable to play them. I tried different sounds (only the free ones), but none work.
They're not being added to the top bar.
Which sounds do work are all the ones that come directly pre-installed.

I tried the .msix-Bundle-Installer, the Installer.exe from the Microsoft Web Store and through the Microsoft Store directly.
I tried using the the Repair and the Reset-Feature in the Settings

Hmm. I can't reproduce the issue. Can you try reinstalling from the store?

Yeah, this weirds me out, too. Because I can't reproduce it either on other systems.

After a restart of my system, now Ambie only boots up this far (see screenshot), not showing the menus. Are there any system requirements (or libraries) I can check whether they are present and working or not?
