Add default placeholder image when profile image is missing or broken

Currently, when a profile image is missing or broken, we rely on the alt text. It would be better to show a default placeholder image instead, to improve the UI and user experience.

We can add a default image that will be displayed whenever the original image fails to load or is not available.

In which case(s) do you think a missing image could happen? Has it ever occurred?

The case where I think this may be helpful is when the image takes a bit of time to load and we can use this default image as a placeholder until the actual image comes online.

Thanks Kris and Herve! I’d love to work on this as a jenkins-io-components feature.
I’ll open an issue there and start exploring the approach.
