Documentation migration redirect not working without # #70

@kmartens27

Description

@kmartens27

Reproduction steps

  1. Navigate to https://wiki.jenkins.io/display/JENKINS/Building+Jenkins#
  2. Change URL to https://wiki.jenkins.io/JENKINS/Building+Jenkins and go
  3. Arrive at old wiki site

Expected Results

The wiki page is not displayed based on the redirect.

Actual Results

Depending on how the URL is constructed, the old wiki page is still visible/accessible.

Anything else?

In order to prep for Hacktoberfest and find some potential issues for candidates, the topic of wiki migration is being examined. While trying to determine the exact steps necessary to migrate & remove/redirect content from the old Wiki, I have been trying to determine what steps were used in this ticket: #41

While a good chunk of documentation has already been migrated, the old wiki pages are still very present and accessible depending on how the URL is constructed. The redirects here specifically deal with the "display" URL present in the nginx file, but that does not redirect the original page.
