Description

This plugin provides Rust toolchain installation and management for Jenkins builds. It allows Jenkins jobs and pipelines to install and use Rust (rustc, cargo) without requiring Rust to be preinstalled on Jenkins controllers or agents.

The plugin is designed to work across Linux, macOS, and container-based Jenkins agents, supports both Freestyle and Pipeline jobs, and focuses on reproducible and idempotent tool installations.

The plugin follows Jenkins plugin development best practices, includes automated tests using the Jenkins Test Harness, and has been tested against Jenkins LTS.
