[JENKINS-71103] Add a configuration to allow users to choose whether to immediately execute or not execute when missed tasks

The machine crashed last night, so the scheduled tasks did not run. When the machine was turned on this morning, the tasks were automatically executed, but there were users using the machine during the day, so the deployment could only be done at night. Therefore, can a configuration be added to allow users to decide whether to immediately execute or abandon the execution if the scheduled task is not executed?

  I think you may be confusing the capabilities of the Jenkins scheduler with the much narrower capabilities of the schedule build plugin.  The schedule build plugin provides a shortcut that allows a job to be scheduled some period of time in the future.  Are you sure that you have installed the schedule build plugin?

  yes , I'm use this plugin. For example, I scheduled a build to run at 8 PM, but the computer shut down at 7 PM. until the next morning at 8 AM, Jenkins was reopened and the plugin started the build automatically. However, we do not want it to run automatically, we only want to run the build at night. Therefore, we want to add a configuration to allow users to choose whether to continue running or not once this situation occurs.

  Thanks for the clarification.  I don't plan to add that feature to the plugin myself.  If you'd like to add it to the plugin, you could submit a pull request and share your results of running that pull request in your environment.
