Use a side panel in Manage Jenkins

What feature do you want to see added?

This would make it easier to switch between pages in Manage Jenkins.

Considerations

• How would the Nodes page look with this? We currently stores widgets in the sidebar on that page and they'd need to move with this
• What's the potential impact on plugins?

For plugins page - We can have 2 alternatives :

1. Right-side Filter Dropdown : Convert the current left sidebar into a dropdown menu positioned to the right of the search box. Layout Structure:
   [Left Sidebar] [Plugin Search Bar] [Filter Options ▼]
   - Updates (57)
   - Available plugins
   - Installed plugins
   - Advanced settings

2. Tab Navigation with Settings Dropdown : Convert the plugin sidebar sections into top-level tabs above the content area.
   Layout Structure :
   [Left Sidebar] [Updates (57) | Available | Installed] [Search Bar] [⚙️]
   [Content Area]

One thing to consider for the plugins page is that once you update or install plugins you get an additional entry in the sidepanel with Download progress

As for this I'm not sure - do users find them useful on that page?

On the nodes page it is not so important for me. I go there only to either look at the monitors or to go to a dedicated agent.

I would add another plugin that needs adapting:
https://plugins.jenkins.io/monitoring/

It contributes 2 pages

But href to those pages are broken and clicking results in 404

Chaning href to /monitoring fixes the issue

Another awesome addition would be extending functionality of search bar, currently it only shows categories

It would be awesome if it could search inside categories.
Great example is Lockable Resources, it's hidden inside System category, but without that knolwedge it's impossible to locate this section
