Strange things happen with flood and rtorrent docker

I used to get rtorrent-docker from linuxserver, but it has too many bugs so I change to romancin/rutorrent-docker. But it also has some bugs too and the dev seems to disappear atm.

Right now I change the image of rtorrent to crazy-max/docker-rtorrent-rutorrent. It took me real serious time to set it up and running with the old data. I sucessfully make it connect with flood docker too. But then I realize it is not fully compatible and act really strange. The same setup with linuxserver and romancin, it works very well. But with crazy-max it won't.

This is my config in docker-compose:

Flood can stop a torrent but unable to start it. It can't add new torrent and most action will fail. When tried to move a torrent to different location, for example from /downloads/software/files.mp4 to /downloads/files.mp4, it will rename software to files.mp4 folder and store all file in there.

Your volume mapping looks super weird.

Which part is weird for you? Maybe the socket path mapping? Because the rtorrent socket file is located in /var/run/rtorrent/scgi.socket container so I need to map it to rsock where I can also map it in flood /media/scgi.socket. This setup works for romancin/rutorrent.

Also the /data and /passwd is default mapped of crazy-max image.

Check troubleshooting section. rTorrent needs to have access to Flood’s temporary directory, and the filesystem context must be the same.

Additionally, if you don’t use ruTorrent, use the official rtorrent-only image instead. The troubles you encountered are probably related to ruTorrent, and are out of scope for this project.

Thanks a lot, I thought it just needs mapped the same folder location it will works. I've just changed flood /config to /data and it works now.

hi have the same problem.
with romacins container flood works with /run/php/.rtorrent.sock but not with carzymaxs container, can you say me how you connect?
