The pause command is easy to hit by accident and it can be problematic depending on deployment setup.

Describe the solution you'd like

The pause command should be configurable to ask for confirmation before pausing using a similar dialog to stop.
Additionally, it's worth considering whether a prompt for confirmation should be the default behavior.
