pull or push from/ to repo not working [Ubuntu]

Describe the bug
I can create branches, stash files or changes but when i must pull from master, nothing happens. I have to exit lazygit to write 'git pull' and back to lazygit again

To Reproduce
From master
I press x button
p (does not work neither) , scroll down to p from pulling
no pop up alerting i'm pulling, nothing happens

Expected behavior
after pull, i should update master but nothing happens

Additional context
I can edit commits, cherry picking, branching ....
I'm working with Github personal access token (working throws git commands)

It happens with all branches, not only master

interesting. Does this also happen for repos where you don't need to use a personal access token e.g. pulling a public repo?

pulling a public repo happens nothing too. Since I've installed lazygit with this Ubuntu version, pulling or pushing are done with git commands as before:

I'm afraid I don't have ubuntu so I'm not able to reproduce this myself

Also, sorry for losing track of this issue. To produce logs you just need to pass the -debug flag to lazygit and you can view the logs by running lazygit --logs in a separate terminal window
