Lazygit requires sudo in order to run

Describe the bug
We have chosen "Lazygit" to be used with our Development tools sometigo ago.
But lately after installtion in Ubuntu 18.04 using the suggested procedure, it only runs with sudo.

To Reproduce
Just try to run lazygit, and it will hang.

Expected behavior
Runs smoothly

Does it even show the lazygit UI?

Closing because of an inability to reproduce. I run in Ubuntu without needing sudo every day.
