I think I've done everything right, when I plug the raspberry pico into a pc it is identified as a G29 but when I plug it into the PS5 there is no response when using the buttons on the Hori Mini Controller or my DFGT. The wired Hori controller works fine when plugged into the PS5 directly, but when plugged into the USB hub it is unresponsive and therefore I can't press the PS button to sign into the PS5.

Pressing the select and start buttons on the wheel together works as the PS button. Inputs from the device used for authentication are not passed to the console.

Thanks for the reply! I've tried all kinds of combinations but I've yet to get it working. One of my issues may be that I used the adapter.uf2 file from here - https://github.com/user-attachments/files/18633500/adapter.zip as I had no success with the standard uf2 file.

I reverted back to the original uf2 file and it is now working great even in GT7. Thanks for your efforts. Can I buy you a coffee @jfedor2 ? 👍👍

Yes, works perfectly. It is used for authentication only though, it will be unresponsive if you try to use it for navigation etc…

Hi! Are you sure it does? I remember that I bought this but had to put it away since the wheel would stop working after 8 minutes, I had to buy the Hori Arcade Stick to make it work properly, since that one actually works on native PS5 games.

I bought it yesterday just for it, still waiting delivery. I will test when have all the components. I only bought it because of @Leprechaun2000 comment, the other option was a hori octa costing 2x more in my country.

As the guide say, you have to use a PS4 peripheral that is compatible with PS5 native games, the easiest one are arcade sticks. I suggest you the "hori fighting stick mini" for PS4 since it's cheaper then alternatives.

Yes, I know, and thank you for the suggestion. I tried using the original PS4 controller and it didn't work, so I'll test it with the controller you suggested and let you know here.
