Make log show which defaults/metadata files were loaded?

Is it possible to make the log show which defaults and metadata files were loaded? I have for my current project a "cascade" of defaults files to mesh language- and format-specific defaults and common defaults I wanted to check that everything got loaded ok, so I made a verbose log file, but it shows only includes and filters run.

Not currently. You could add an enhancement request for INFO messages for these things.
