I found one way to replicate high memory usage on startup:
The new version remembers which groups you expanded in the shapes list.
If there are a lot of groups currently expanded, this impacts RAM usage on the next startup as it remembers which groups to expand and loads them in.

@wenshi01 please check how many (and which) of the groups in the shapes list on the left side of the program you have expanded. Please report the english names for them here. This could help replicate the issue, if it is caused by that (and then solves it).

Ubuntu 24.04 with v30.0.4 works fine.
