🔹 Why you can’t resize vertically The ER Table shape automatically resizes its height based on the number of fields it contains. 🔹 How to make it shorter You have two options: Hide unused rows Right-click the table → Edit Data (or double-click → Edit). Delete or temporarily remove the fields you don’t want to display. The table height will shrink automatically. Convert it to a plain shape (if you just want a static table) Select the table → Arrange → Ungroup (Ctrl+Shift+G / Cmd+Shift+G). That breaks it into standard shapes that can be resized freely — though you’ll lose the automatic ER-table formatting. 🔹 If you just want to see fewer fields temporarily You can create a collapsed version by duplicating the table and deleting the lower fields on the copy, keeping the original elsewhere for full reference. So in short: The height of ER Tables is tied to the number of fields. To change height, remove or hide fields, or ungroup to turn it into a standard resizable shape. |
