@DanielFran I did some investigation and I think the issue is a behavior change in GitHub runner https://github.com/actions/runner-images/releases/tag/ubuntu24%2F20250922.53 but could not find a specific reason.

Switching to ubuntu-22.04 didn't help #30889.

@DanielFran after further investigation, this indeed is related to new runner-image.
More specifically to free space in runner which has decreased.

There are 2 improvements we should implement:

• reduce cache size
• increase runner free space can be slow to remove, should be implemented if cache size is not enough.

I’ve temporarily reduced cache size to test and merge pending PRs
