I tried to follow the guide to get the starter working Note I used the create-react-native-library@latest which currently is 0.54.5

but i get this error [runtime not ready]: ReferenceError: Property 'TextDecoder' doesn't exist

Hi @jb-san !

It appears that you've generated the typescript for WASM, but then used it for React Native. You can see this, because mapping strings to and from a byte array is done in C++ land in the React Native implementation.

This might have been possible by running the commands in sequence (for example):

yarn ubrn:ios
yarn ubrn:web
yarn ios

You can change where files get generated and the entry point using web.tsBindings entry in ubrn.config.yaml. Perhaps we should do this by default to prevent this kind of thing.

Incidentally, thank you for making a repro project, with the generated files checked in. This made debugging this a breeze.
