This is a re-open of issue #61 which was closed because not reproducible.
I get this error message every time I touch a feature file or step file, but not other python code files. This happens any time after I have opened a chat session, even if I have closed it. I have to close the chat session and reload vs code to prevent the message appearing every time I touch the step/feature file. Reloading without closing the chat window does not clear the error message. It is quite distracting (i.e. driving me crazy).
Can we give the issue another go? I love the extension capability and want to train up a colleague: now this "feature" which I have just ignored for a while doesn't feel so tolerable.
Here is the observed behaviour.
I open a new session on vs code. When I edit the step file or feature file everything is OK
Then I open the Chat window for copilot, in this case Claude Sonnet 4, and have a chat. All fine
Then I edit a single character in the step file, and I see a pop-up message in lower right hand corner :
Unexpected scheme: chat-editing-text-model Source: Behave VSC.
I clear the pop up.
I edit a single character in the feature file, and same pop up
I close the chat window, and edit the step file
Same message pop up.
