Is there a way to see invisible revisions? The abandoned ones that wouldn't show up in all()?

I lost several commits. I didn't notice for quite a while, so I haven't a clue what I did for this to happen. Fortunately they're all small and easy to recreate. They don't show up with

jj log -r 'all()'
jj log -r '~all()'
git reflog

They do show up in

git log --all --oneline --graph

How could I find these unattached aka invisible aka abandoned commits with jj commands?

Fwiw, the first thing I did was search for the commit language I knew I had used, but nothing came up, I think because only visible commits are searched.

I don't think we have a good way to see them all at once. A good way to see hidden commits is to use jj evolog or jj log --at-op or jj op log -d to get some commit ids, and then create revsets with those commit ids.

From this perspective, I do find it confusing that x+ will not show hidden commits if x is not hidden, but I'm not sure how to fix it without making it confusing from all other perspectives.

In principle, there could be an all_heads() revset that includes the hidden commit heads, and ::all_heads() would show everything. It'd probably be more useful to spell it as heads_at(op_set) so that you could see the heads at a subset of operations, or heads_at(::) if you really want everything. We already have at_operation(op, heads()) in https://jj-vcs.github.io/jj/latest/revsets/ that is similar, but it only takes one operation.

This may or may not help, but if you run jj op log --op-diff or jj op log -p, it will list all the commits in the repo, with some details. In principle, you could filter out their commit ids with a regex and pass them to jj log -r, but it's probably better to search through the output directly for whatever you are looking through all of the commits for.
