When should I use () in my template or revset name?

Hi!

I see in the doc some examples with or without ().
For example:

[revset-aliases]
'HEAD' = '@-'
'user()' = 'user("[email protected]")'
'user(x)' = 'author(x) | committer(x)'

[template-aliases]
'commit_change_ids' = '''
concat(
  format_field("Commit ID", commit_id),
  format_field("Change ID", change_id),
)
'''

Is there a recommended way to name the revset or template aliases that don't take arguments?

I tend to use short capital letter for revset aliases (such as M for trunk()) which I often use in command line. Others are in function style to not shadow bookmark/tag names.
