Equivalent of git clean?

Looking through all the documentation, help, issues, and discussions I couldn't find anyway to run git clean without losing the .jj folder. How are others blowing away all ignored files and directories without losing the the .jj folder?

At work, I wrote a Python script which uses git clean to generate the list of things that should be deleted, then removes the .jj directory and trashes everything else. It's worked pretty well so far. (not open-source)

Yeah... I was doing something similar (git clean -fdx -e .jj), but it felt like a hack. I'd prefer to do everything from jj-cli.
