Sensor Measurements Inconsistently Recorded

Describe the bug

I enabled the sensor for power measurement on my mains channel to collect real-time usage. My ECM-1240 is setup to send a measurement every 5 seconds, but Im only seeing them in HA on an inconsistent basis. Here's the log of measurements over the last hour:

Do I have something configured wrong? I dont know how to tell if the measurements aren't getting to the listener on my HA server, or if there is another issue. When I re-point the 1240 to send to the Configurator app running on my laptop, i get updates every 5 secs as expected.
