How to check if a point is already in the tree

I am new to using nanoflann and just have the simple question that is in the title. Is there a way provided by nanoflann to check if a point already exists in the index? Sorry if it is somewhere obvious, but I have looked for a while and could not find out how.

Hmm... Do you mean a point given by (a) its coordinates or (b) by its index in the dataset?

For (i) I think the only way is to perform a query.
For (ii) we might add a method, but it doesn't exist at present. A PR would be welcome if you or someone else finds time for a proposal! 🙃
