haven't been updating app on synology, but continues to work?

Howdy, community. I have a synology and have been running crashplanpro on it for a few years. jlesage has dropped several updates, but my install (crashplan v 11.2.1.23) continues to back up ok. Anyone have any insights about whether this is safe? Crashplan used to refuse to connect with older versions, but seems to be more flexible now. Thanks for thoughts!

As long as the app continue to work, I guess it's fine.
You can check the release notes (https://support.crashplan.com/hc/en-us/sections/23299564525197-CrashPlan-app-release-notes) and see if any problems fixed by recent versions can affect you.
