Callback webhook url

Is there a way for the mcp server to return 202 immediately and then post the results to a callback URL for long running tool calls? For example offloading some simulation to a tool, I'd rather the agent simply result the graph execution when the results are posted to a callback URL that the agent shares while making a tool call.

Any ideas?
