Set the maximum number of articles to load

Currently the reader loads everything and the number of articles can be huge. I think it would be great to have the ability to set a limit, e.g. 30, 50, 100, no limit.

When you say "set a limit," do you mean the number of articles that are kept? There is an option to auto-delete articles after they're read under Settings > General > "Keep read articles."

When the app loads articles onto the page, it does so in batches of 50, so it doesn't try to load everything at once. There may be some optimizations I can do there as well.

I mean storing a certain number of articles. For example, I set it to 30 for a given page and the 30 newest articles are fetched and stored. If a new article appears on the page, it is fetched and the oldest one is deleted.
