Hey @VirtualTap0581 thanks for reaching out. I don't have plans for a desktop app. Capy is a side project so my time is already limited, and I do think there's a lot of good hosted/self-hosted options out there. I personally use Feedbin as a backend but that's a paid service. I know people like Miniflux as a smaller FreshRSS alternative, although it's missing a few features with its Google Reader API (miniflux/v2#3195). |

I am using the Android app and find it excellent. However, I miss the option for a web desktop. While some apps and web apps are available, they do not meet the standards set by Capy.
I use FreshRSS as the backend, but FreshRSS itself is quite difficult to read from. Fluent Reader is quite good, but managing favorites is not as good. Capyreader handles this task much better. I think Capy has the potential to great on desktops.
