Hey @PhilC813, it's a great idea though as of now I want to focus on making Capy Reader just an RSS reader. My dream scenario would be that Feedbin opens up the Airshow API for this use case (feedbin/feedbin-api#64). As that post mentions, there is rudimentary support for audio enclosures, but nothing that tells you which feeds are podcast feeds. Casting further out, if that was available, I think I'd want to build a Feedbin-only podcast app that plugged into that API akin to Airshow. The biggest constraint on that is time and Android's audio APIs. I worked with those years ago on a different app, and Android audio can be finicky. |

Feedbin has native support for podcasts through podcast RSS feeds and a basic audio player in their web app. This support is advertised as a feature on their website home page (search for keyword "podcast").
As someone who only occasionally listens to podcasts, I've decided to stop using a dedicated podcast app and centralize everything into Feedbin. The lack of podcast support in Capy Reader means that I still have to use the Feedbin web app from time to time.
The lack of support:

I know that Capy was probably never intended to have podcast support, but to have a very basic and functional implementation like the Feedbin web app would be nice!
