Sorry you ran into that - I'm not sure of a good remedy either at the moment, at least technically. I like the idea of an undo button by way of a snackbar but the implementation might be tricky since there's not a way to "undo" read items without storing all of the articles. That could cause problems in a feed with, say, 10k+ items. |

If you accidentally pick the wrong option between "above" and "below" for marking as read in the article list, there is no clear way to undo the action.
That just happened to me while I was reviewing a feed I hadn't checked in a while, with hundreds of unreads. I accidentally picked "Mark below as read", which when on the unread filter sorted by "oldest first", means that you marked as read all the articles that you haven't yet reviewed.
I'm not sure what would be the best way to remedy this. Email apps like Spark often make use of a temporary banner with an "undo" button at the bottom of the screen, but I know that this is not your (@jocmp) UI preference!
