[Bug] - Bookmarks don't get shown

In Brave browser, if you have the setting to show bookmarks only on the new tab page, this for some reason doesn't work, you have to manually show bookmarks always (ctrl + shift + b). Would it be possible to fix that bug so that a user can see their bookmarks only in the new page
