Data loss in webapp after Windows Update (incl. Edge) #1307
-
Hello everyone! First I woud like to thank for that great tool. With the last Windows 10 update, the edge browser was also touched and I get the message, that an error occured and a app was resetted. After I started superproductivity the next time all entries disappeared. I can't find any backup. Is there a possibilty to restore the (browser-)data? Someone experienced too? I thought that something in the User/AppData/Local/ - Path could help. |

Hi there! Thanks for your question. The desktop version makes automatic backups. That's not possible in the browser unfortunately and it is not possible to completely prevent the browser from deleting user data. I'd recommend enabling one of the sync providers if you can't use the desktop version. About restoring the data: You need to look for a way to restore edges user data to an earlier point of time before the update. Not sure if this is possible in your case. |
