How to schedule a task on a day without a time (all-day task)?

Is it possible to schedule a task for a specific day but not at a specific time?

Perhaps "all-day" or "time unassigned"?

The specific time is needed to send out a reminder. Your task is all day, but does it have a start time? Or you can start any time of the day, which means you don't need a reminder?

Perhaps we need implement a feature to not send out reminder. In the meantime, you can implement this hack: Type "<YOUR_TASK> @time".

The time here can be tomorrow, November 30, and most of the common time syntax supported here.

For example: "Schedule all day task @Tomorrow".

The time will be set to 23:59 of tomorrow. When you open the app tomorrow, you will see this task added to the Today section, and you won't be bothered with the reminder unless you work until 23:59.

@bytrangle, is there a setting that affects this behavior? When I use @today or @tomorrow, the app schedules the task for 9:00 am, rather than all day. But I can't seem to find why this is or how it's controlled.

That information is correct at the time I wrote the comment above. There has been many changes to SP since that time.

@dstark I've checked the code base again and the 9am time is indeed hard-coded. There's nothing you can change it in the settings. You can file an issue to allow customization of the start time.

I very much like this function, as when you integrate your calendar(s) it floats your tasks around your appointments.
that is hugely beneficial, however you have to do proper time estimates (shortcut "t")
AND prioritizing beforehand, as the first task in the list is moved into the first available slot

(the 9 isn't hard coded (at least not in Version 10.0.11 (10.0.11)), it's the start of the day and makes totally sense. If you change the start of the day in the settings e.g. to 7, then the tasks appear at seven.)

I don't know, whats in the codebase,
but the behaviour (Version 10.0.11) is:
if I change the setting (see below) to e.g. 7:00, then all tasks start at 7
=> what is exactly the way that is suitable for the process and I really like!

We probably should replace the hardcoded value with the one from the schedule settings?!
