Automatically clearing up finished tasks from yesterday

Is there a way of automatically clearing the tasks from yesterday that have been done?
I often find myself forgetting to 'finish the day' because I simply don't often have a time to clock out, so finished task pile up and I need to finish days in the middle.
What are you thoughts on that?

It would be nice to get notified about tasks that have not been completed the day before. Maybe in the header it could say "2 tasks not completed yesterday, complete them here". Then you could click on the tasks and finish them for yesterday. Or having an icon / tag that indicates tags have surpassed the scheduled deadline. Or making such tasks a different color.

I have the same issue you describe it would be nice to have a solution for this. Something else could be a reminder that reminds you to clear your tasks for the day.
