Unsure if Bug - If minimized, app won't from Taskbar

When I have SP minimized to the Tray (Win 11) and I click the SP Icon in the Taskbar, SP doesn't open as I'm used to from other Apps like Joplin.

I'm unsure if this is the intended Behavior for some Reason I don't know. If so, what's that reason?

Haven't really used windows in a while, but is opening the app on tray icon click really the default behavior for most apps?

Hey @johannesjo! I just want to shout in since I too am having the same issue as reported by @Noctran.
(First of all I just wanted to say that I am loving this app since it really matches how my ADHD brain works hahah, and I am sure that, with some UX tweaks like this one, it can help the app to reach out to even more people.)

Since you mentioned not using Windows for a while, I'll add some things regarding how other apps usually work in regards to minimizing and going to system tray, but it you think these should belong in a different ticket, I can create a new one, no problem.

1. Clicking on an app in the task bar (or start menu) launches the app. (SP does this just fine)

2. If the app can (or prefers to) only have a single instance open (Spotify, Windows Store etc), then clicking on the start menu entry will just bring the app to front and focus. (SP does NOT do this, even if the app is open but minimized, it will not be brought up to the front and focus)

3. If "Minimize to system tray" is enabled, the app usually goes to the system tray only when you hit Close. (SP does this with close, but also when you minimize the app, which seems outside of the pattern most tools use in Windows)
4. At last, if "Minimize to system tray" is enabled, trying to launch the app again - via task bar or start menu - will just bring the running instance to the front. (SP does NOT do that currently. We need to click on the tray icon to make the app appear again. That is the issue @Noctran mentioned from what I can tell. If one is not aware of the way SP behaves from the points above, one could think the software is crashing since it seems that it is refusing to open. This might be a problem especially if the app is hidden in the system tray, and one forgot that the app was launched before. This is the only app that I am aware that does this behaviour at the moment.)

One thing to note is that at the end of the last video, Spotify closed (without going to system tray) just because I was not logged in. However, if I was logged in, hitting close would minimize it to system tray.
