Recurring tasks: Adjust next due date based on completion?

Hey,

I found your tool awesome, but I still have one unanswered question.

Let’s talk about recurring tasks. Suppose we have a task like "empty the trash every 3 days," starting on Monday.

Now, let’s say nobody takes care of it on Monday, but the task is completed on Tuesday instead. What happens to the next scheduled task on Thursday?

There are two possible approaches:

a) Keep it scheduled for Thursday as originally planned.
b) Reschedule it for Friday, based on the actual completion date.
For my project, I need option b. I tried to find a setting for this but couldn’t.

Does anyone know if this is possible or planned for future updates?
