How to complete/delete recurring tasks?

Hello.
Thank you for this great app. I'm planning to using it, it looks like what I have been looking for for a long time. But I can't figure out one thing.
For example I have a task that I have to do for some time every day (for example, half an hour a day). I create a recurring task and indicate the estimated time. I mark this task as completed every day. But, for example, a month later, I finish this task completely and I need to finish it so task won't repeat anymore. I've tried to delete the task, but in this case it disappears from the time tracking.
Please help me find a way to do this in a right way.

You can delete (or rather unschedule) reoccurring tasks by going to the repeat settings again in the task side panel. At the bottom of the Dialog that opens up, there is a button to remove it. The idea is, that you sometimes don't need a repeating task on the a certain day, while you generally want to keep it in place. But I agree that this might be solved in a better way.

Thank you for the answer. This solution is good, I just worried that when I remove the schedule from task, all time tracking data would be deleted. Now I realized that the application has a different approach and that's ok, thank you.
