Is it taking in consideration if there is power enough when making the plans?

What happened

This evening there is a slot with .99 price that it doesn't want to use for export. Instead it is waiting for tomorrow morning to do the export at the same price .99 (I only use tvo decimals, so there might be a difference). It is planning to do 60% discharge. Does it take into consideration if there will be capacity enough to take the export at that time? The inverter is already 50% used by pv, so it will not be able to do 60% discharge.

The report suggests the discharge/export schedule may not be accounting for the inverter's simultaneous PV throughput when sizing a planned discharge rate, potentially exceeding available capacity in that slot.

To dig into this at the code level we need a debug bundle — it wasn't attached to this report. Please go to System Health → Download Debug Report in the dashboard and either paste the JSON in a comment or attach the file here. Deep analysis can't run without it, since the exact behavior depends on your configuration and sensor state at that time.

This is what I mean. It plans to do a full 10kW battery dump and at the same time the solar input is predicted to be 4-5kW adding up to 14-15kW when the inverter can handle only 10kW. There is a high risk that the battery can’t dump at those prices it is calculating with.

This is the outcome. It exports until 10.15 at much worse prices than the evening before. It seems it is not taking into account the tecnical limit that the combined solar and battery power is imposed by the inverter (10kW).

Hi @ridax67, good news — this is exactly what a recent feature is for.

We added a setting that caps the combined solar + battery discharge AC output at your inverter's rated power, so the optimizer won't plan a discharge that would exceed it.

Where to enable it: In the dashboard, go to Settings → Battery, and set:

• Inverter Max AC Power — your inverter's rated AC output (10 kW in your case)
• Clipping Margin — leave at the default (5%); this is a small safety haircut for forecast inaccuracy, not something you normally need to touch

It defaults to disabled (0), so it needs to be set explicitly — once set, the optimizer will reserve discharge headroom for expected solar instead of planning a full discharge that would exceed your inverter's combined AC limit.
