Layout breaks when navigating to a new section at non-100% zoom

Describe the bug
When reading an EPUB with zoom set to anything other than 100%, navigating to a different section causes the layout to break, text columns appear misaligned. Zooming in or out by any amount immediately fixes the rendering.

To Reproduce

1. Open any EPUB
2. Set zoom to anything other than 100%
3. Navigate to a different section
4. Layout is broken
5. Zoom in or out , layout is fixed again

Expected behavior
Layout should render correctly when navigating to a new section at any zoom level.

Additional context
I believe this wasn't the case some time ago, but i can't quite be sure about which version worked or if the recent version broke it.

It's probably caused by some recent change in WebKitGTK. It doesn't happen on Firefox.

After debugging more, i believe i found the root issue and filed a bug report for webkit here .

i will also try to create a workaround, and i am willing to create a PR if i am satisfied with it.
