Would be great if the Travis build worked correctly.

intellij-rust could be an example to glean from.

@fastasturtle, when I first wrote this plugin I never could find any documentation on how to get Travis to build an IntelliJ plugin. Do you know of any instructions you could point me to?

@johnthagen Honestly, I don't know much about it. I think a good starting point would be porting it to gradle (https://www.jetbrains.org/intellij/sdk/docs/tutorials/build_system.html) and see if everything works out of the box with it (IIUC it should, but, again, I don't have a lot of experience with building java stuff).

Given that Travis CI is no longer free for for FOSS projects, if we do work on this, I'd recommend we migrate to GitHub Actions.

The template seems to do that. The GitHub Actions also aren't "free" either. There's a certain amount of minutes you can use each month without paying.

GitHub Actions usage is free for public repositories and self-hosted runners.

It would seem that for public repositories (like this one), GitHub Actions is free.

(Broken) Travis config deleted in 8e46962 so that it does not incur any cost on the small amount of free Travis credits I have remaining (that can be used for a couple of my repos that haven't migrated yet).
