Fidelity bond not showing up in the order book

Expected behavior

Bond showing up along with the offer caracteristics in the order book

Actual behavior

Offer line ends with bond value = 0

1. create a bond wait for 5 confirmations
2. create an offer
3. open order book after several minutes

The orderbook should say something like

"It might take some time for your offer and your bond to appear in your local orderbook."

..but maybe this can be displayed more prominently.
Offers and fidelity bond values are not collected at the same time and there might be a delay.
Can you report if it showing up after some time?

If it is, do you have a suggestion how to make it more obvious?

The offer has been up for several hours now and still showing a bond value of 0

Hmm.. looks good. If your fidelity bond does not show up after a few minutes, even after reloading (using the top left button), there might be some other issue. I am afraid I cannot diagnose the problem.

Well this is a bug with joinmarket-webui orderbook page because after some time the counterparty AND the FB are showing up on https://nixbitcoin.org/orderbook/fidelitybonds

Jam fetches the orderbook from your local obwatcher daemon. If it does not contain the data then your obwatcher maybe has not received it. I am not saying that there is no bug in the orderbook of Jam - but it just displays the data it gets back from the api. It is hard to reproduce the problem.

Experiencing this issue as well. Fidelity bond is not reflected in any of my maker offers and I posted the bond nearly one month ago.

Does not depend on how old your bond is. Please report back if it shows up after waiting some more time after publishing your offer and reloading the orderbook.
