Utilizing Nebula in a Before-Save Flow #854

Has anyone found a way to capture errors that originate from a Before-Save flow? Since you can't pull in actions, or update anything other than the originating record, I can't think of a clean way to utilize Nebula there, but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything? |

Hi @melissajhansen - great question! As far as I can tell, there's unfortunately still not a way to use Nebula Logger within before-save Flows. I've looked into this a few times over the years, but I've never been able to find a way to make it work without using Apex. For now, I consider this a Salesforce limitation - something would have to change within the platform in order to support this 😞 |

@jongpie yep, that makes sense, I hope there's eventually some option available in a before-save flow for a fault path to fire an event or do something that would enable logging. Thanks for the confirmation! |

@melissajhansen yeah, I would absolutely love to one day have a way to support this. I will definitely keep an eye open to see if Salesforce ever introduces something to facilitate it. If you have any other suggestions or feedback, please let me know! |
