type delay argument does squat

[zlice]

was using an old version xdotool-3.20211022 and updated to the latest release in the last week or so.

doing a loop for xdotool type [--delay n] wordstotype always seems to be the default 12ms, if not slower.

downgrading obeys the delay and 500ms is visibly slow. default in latest release must be closer to 100 if i had to guess.

will try to bisect when i get the time.
