EVS Tally via TSL 5.0 UDP

Hey,

i try to get Tallyarbiter working with the EVS XT-VIA Multicam Software

The EVS only Supports TSL 5.0 UDP.

I would like to see in the Multiview of the EVS that the Outputs are OnAir, and also get the Tally indicator for all the incoming inputs running

My Setup is:
ATEM 8K V9.6.3
TallyArbiter V3.1.1
EVS Multicam V20.05
Switches are from Ubiquiti without any Ports blockt

Not sure if you ever got the answer from someone but it is possible to get TAv3.1.1 to output TSL 5 UDP to EVS VIA. First part, you have to get the TA to receive tally from your switcher/or device that sending tally. Once that part is working, create or "edit action" which point to your EVS VIA. In the edit action, you can choose the TSL 5 UDP protocol, IP, port , index, etc.
You need to create 2 actions, one to "turn on" when tally on, and one to "turn off" when tally off. Other, it would just turn on tally and no turn off. Hope this help. There is also a way to test EVS VIA tally on/off by using Python script as well as Node-red without using TA. You have to look into the TSL protocol how to send the udp stream.
